Chief Adebanjo Discusses the Conduct of 2023 Election So Far

A prominent supporter of the Labour Party presidential candidate and leader of the Afenifere group, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, has shared his opinion regarding the conduct of the 2023 presidential election. During his interview on Plus TV, Adebanjo raised vital questions regarding the role that security agents and the president have played so far in the election.
Addressing the topic, Adebanjo said, "I am not unaware of the attacks on voters by thugs and miscreants, but that is why security officers are positioned around." The police and the DSS are there to address such unavoidable happenings. However, those behind such crimes should be made to face the consequences of their actions. There appears to be inaction on the part of security agencies. This is not the job of INEC, but I am concerned about INEC and the issue of uploading the election result. All eyes should be on the president, who is in charge of security, and the security agencies themselves.
Chief Adebanjo also stated that INEC has tried so far, but it should not let itself be used by the "devil".
