One of the largest entertainment brand in Africa, Cubana Group led by its Chairman, Mr. Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana, the Executive Director Cubana Group, Paschal Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest and their friends recently payed a courtesy visit to Senator Uche Ekwunife.
Speaking during the visit, the doyen of entertainment, Obi Cubana described Senator EKwunife as a quintessential legislator who goes out of her way to address the challenges of her people even without being called upon. He pledged the group’s continued support for the Senator as far as the business of legislation and governance are concerned.
While responding, Senator Ekwunife appreciated the group for identifying with her. She noted that the role the entertainment industry plays in the promotion of societal values and interests is key to the enlightenment of Nigerian citizens.
She thanked them for all the great work they have been doing both in Nigeria and in Africa and pledged to reciprocate their support using the instrument of legislation and other tools of governance within her reach. She further expressed delight in having them as her constituents and prayed for God's continued favour upon them.
