Ally and In-law to the President of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria, Ismaila Isa Funtua was buried at the Gudu cementary, Abuja, after he died on Monday night due to Cardiac arrest.
A lot of prominent Nigerians and dignitaries such as President Muhammadu Buhari, Mamman Daura, Nduka Obaigbena, chairman of Thisday and AriseTV, Sam Nda-Isaiah, Yobe state Governor, Nuhu Ribadu, Mai Mala Buni and former chairman of the EFCC were all present in the funeral.
He was laid to rest at about 1:47pm, after Salat-al- Janazah was held on his behalf at Shehu Shagari Central Mosque, Garki Abuja, by the Chief Imam Area 1 Mosque “Sheikh Abdulahi Bala Yau"
Late Ismaila Isa who was born in the year 1942, in Funtua, Katstina state, was the founding publisher of Defunct Democrat Newspaper and the founder of Bulet International Nigeria Limited.

After his burial, prayers were offered at his graveside by the Chief Imam National Mosque, Abuja, Dr Kabir.
