The governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Diri Duoye has made a vow that he will be the one that will inspect any projects approved by the government during the execution by the contractors in his state.

According to the report, the governor said he will personally inspect any of his projects. Bayelsa government new media praised him that he is redefining leadership in politics.
He also showing empirical oversight and has become an enormous source of motivation to all the appointees of the Prosperity Government and the entire State. They equally explained how is paying unscheduled visits to all the sites where projects are being executed rather than just sitting in the office and with the expectation of reports.
They explain further that last week alone, he visited project sites twice. The place he visited includes Igbedi road, Bayelsa airport, Glory drive, Igbogene-AIT outer ring road, Yenagoa-Oporoma road, and the Media House complex. With his colleagues, he evaluated the projects personally. On Friday, the governor embarked on the assessment without alerting the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Moses Teibowei, and the State Project Monitoring and Evaluation board chairman, Engr. Ebiye Tarabina.

I think this is the best way to keep the contractors on their toes and serious with their works. It will be very good if the remaining governors can adopt this strategy everything will be okay in the country.
