Reporting this hour is that the Taraba State Chairman of the National Labour in the person of Comrade Peter Gambo, is dead. Gambo died as a result of battle with the dreaded COVID-19 virus, at the isolation centre in the federal medical centre located in Jalingo. The news of Gambo's death was confirmed through a text message. The staff was the one that that confirmed this message. Gambo, who tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago, was at the isolation centre at the federal medical centre in Jalingo where he was being managed by some health experts. I was so shocked when I saw the news of death of the NLC on social media, said by Special Adviser to Governor Darius Ishaku on Media and Publicity, in the person of Mr. Bala Dan-Abu.
Bala also noted that he will issue a condolence message on behalf of the governor after checking with the officials of the union. Rest in peace mentor, this was said by a staff, Mr. Amos Likita, who happened to be a staff where Gambo pastored. Amos acknowledged his good works and how good he has been doing for humanity, the church and also, for God. He made mention that the chairman is now in heaven to enjoy his rewards.
