The killing by Unknown gunmen in Njaba Local government area of Imo state has raised so much tension among Nigerians to the extent that so many prominent politicians have started reacting towards it.
Nevertheless, The Imo state government led by Governor Hope Uzodinma has commiserated with the people of Njaba Local Government over the ugly incident which took place at the council Headquarters, while the Traditional rulers were having a stakeholders meeting.

The governor condemned the attack and described it as an expression of wickedness and desecration of sacred stool, Governor Hope promised that his administration would ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
Furthermore, The Governor called on the people of the Njaba Local Government to cooperate with security operatives in unmasking those behind the attack.
However, so many Nigerians are anxious about knowing the approach Governor Uzodinma could use to bring the culprits to book.
Why the killing of Monarchs should be a call for Governor Hope Uzodinma to seek Federal Assistance.
Firstly, the attack launched on monarchs in Imo state is bad, and all the culprits should be brought to book. Meanwhile, the killings should be a wake-up call for Governor Hope Uzodinma to seek Federal government assistance because constitutionally the federal government led by President Buhari has the power to deploy security operatives to any state that is experiencing security challenges. The deployment of security operatives will help to boost the number of security operatives and that will be enough to secure lives and properties from the grassroots level.
Secondly, Governor Hope Uzodinma should seek federal government assistance in fighting crime in imo state so that residents living in the state will not start living in tension.
Lastly, I urge everyone to help the Federal Government in the fight against insecurity by reporting any suspicious movement to the Nigerian police force.
