Joe Igbokwe took to his verified Facebook page to share the photos of Igbo leaders meeting in Enugu today, where they met to discuss security in the southeast, and how to secure lives and properties in the region.
Many prominent Igbo sons and daughters were present, including the governor of the five southeast states. This is because of the increase in the murder of reputable persons from the region observed in recent times.
We believe that the meeting will yield a positive result, to save the lives of others. But the truth remains that the poor are no longer happy in society, and that is why the state and federal governments of Nigeria, should look inwards and find a lasting solution to the suffering of the poor citizens in the country.
