20 SANS Line Up For Obi, APC May Hire 12

The Labour Party said it had engaged the services of at least 20 senior advocates of Nigeria to challenge the outcome of the February 25 presidential election on behalf of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
According to sources within the party, the lawyers drawn from different chambers were being furnished with materials that would be used as evidence in court.
Atiku’s Opportunism Eclipsed PDP – Osita Okechukwu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Osita Okechukwu has challenged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for making false claims about the recent presidential poll.
Okechukwu regretted that Atiku glossed over the obvious fact that his desperation and crass opportunism led to PDP’s defeat only to blame Mr. Peter Obi, the candidate of Labour Party.
“Imagine what could have been the result of the 2023 presidential election if it was mainly between APC and PDP?” Okechukwu quipped.
Atiku, while addressing a press conference in Abuja last Friday, stated that Obi’s movement to the Labour Party took PDP’s votes in Southeast and South/south.
But, speaking to journalists in Abuja, Sunday, Okechukwu said Atiku allowed his entitlement mentality to becloud his sense of judgment.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated the Nigerian President-elect, Sen. Bola Tinubu on his victory at the Feb. 25 presidential poll.

Igbo communities in Lagos endorse PDP candidate Jandor
Some Igbo Communities in Lagos State have officially endorsed the PDP’s Governorship Candidate, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran and his running mate, Ms Funke Akindele, ahead of Saturday’s election.
Leaders of Ndigbo declared their support for Adediran at an event tagged “the Igbo Communities in Lagos Official Endorsement of Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (aka Jandor).

Eze David Nwosu, the Eze NdIgbo, Ikorodu North, who spoke on behalf of the Council of Ezes Ndigbo and the Igbo Communities in Lagos State at the endorsement in Oshodi -Isolo area, said the Igbos had declared support for Adediran.
Nwosu, who raised the hands of Adediran jointly with other Ezes in attendance, briefly said, ” Ezes NdIgbo and Igbo communities in Lagos State endorse Jandor".
Responding, Adediran described his Governorship battle as the Lord’s battle, and expressed confidence that with the support of the people, the state would celebrate freedom by March 11.
