Currently, the President of Nigeria is in London for a medical Trip. He Left few days ago, and he is expected to spend about two weeks in London. Before he left, he talked to his service Chiefs. A lot of people thought that, he was going to hand over power to Osibanjo, Before embarking on the trip. But he didn't, and Nigerians reacted differently to it. Arewa Youth Forum through her President, have also Reacted to Buhari not Handing power to his vice. The President of the Group said that, assuming the president was going to be away for a long time, then it will not be normal if he didn't hand over to his vice.
But since he will just be away for a short while, there's no big deal. And Buhari has gone for a medical Trip that's just two weeks, and will be back very soon.
2. Bandits invade Military Camp in Niger, kill Soldiers
Some group of Armed men suspected to be Bandits, attacked a military base in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger state. The Bandits who came in their numbers, and with Ak 47, attacked a joints task force base in the local government, and killed some of the security men in the process. The Bandits also abducted People from the town, and made away with some motorcycles belongings to the Villagers.
3. Bishop urges Buhari, Politicians to Imitate Jesus
A Bishop in Oyo State, who is in charge of the Catholic Diocese in Oyo, have sent a strong Advice to the President of the Country as well as other Politicians. According to what Bishop Emmanuel Badejo said on Thursday, he advised the President, and other Politicians to behave like Jesus Christ. He said that, Christ lived a life of sacrifice. He urged leaders to also make sacrifices for the interest of the People, and the best example that they can imitate is Jesus Christ who died on the cross for the Good of everyone.
