Check Out The 3 Igbo Politicians That Don't Support Agitation For Biafra Nation.

For over a year, the agitation for Biafra has been one of the most talked about issues in Nigeria, with Nnamdi Kanu, the founder of IPOB, who is currently in the DSS's den, bringing out the long-dying agitation for the South-East region to break away from Nigeria.

Furthermore, President Muhammadu and other lovers of Nigeria have issued many words of warning to the agitators with the claim that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable. Despite all these warnings, these people still proved adamant in their actions. However, these are the 3 Igbo people who are goof lovers of Nigeria and don't support Biafra.

Hope Uzodinma:

Hope Uzodinma, the current Governor of Imo State, has proven to be a good lover of Nigeria, and a man who wants peace for the people of his region.

A few weeks ago, he publicly made it known that the Igbo people don't want Biafra, which has been the reason so many innocent lives are being lost in Nigeria.

He claims that Igbo people are ready to stay and embrace Nigeria, but to do so, it would be essential for the Nigerian government to let equity and fairness reign. The Nigerian government should treat Igbo people like one of them.

Joe Igbokwe.

Joe Igbokwe, the special adviser to Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, has kicked against the agitation to get Biafra in many of his speeches.

Igbokwe believes that Igbo people don't have tangible reasons for breaking up, and he has never been supporting the idea of breaking up since he was young during the time of Ojukwu, and he would never support it.

He claims that everything that happened during the civil war was not a good experience, and he is sad about how Nnamdi Kanu was encouraging the eastern youths to rise against their fatherland because there is no reason for Biafra.

David Umahi:

The current Governor of Ebonyi State, who was also the leader of the South East Governors, David Umahi, followed the trends as he claimed that many Igbo don't want to secede from Nigeria, they don't want Biafra, and all they want is to be treated equally in how Nigeria's government is treating the people of other regions.

He also claimed that the idea of and the agitation for Biafra is madness, because how can the Biafran group be killing and destroying the properties of the people they claim to be fighting for.

What is the lesson learned?

The lesson learnt from the speeches of these people is that all of them are good supporters of Nigeria. They understand that being together as one is the only thing that can drive us to the better future that we are looking up to.

These people believe that agitation for Biafra is not the best way to push the government to address the marginalization that Igbo people and other ethnic groups are facing. It will just lead to the war every one of us is not praying for.
