The General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, GFT, in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Prophet Austin Ariole JP, on Sunday told the opposition who lost that no Court would upturn the 2023 presidential results in their favour.
The cleric made the assertion during a sermon on Sunday.
Daily post report that, Prophet Ariole said Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu had been declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and there is nothing anyone could do about it.
Prophet Ariole asserted that the opposition will not be granted any judgement to overturn the results while making clear that he does not favour any of the presidential contenders.
He asserted, "There is no Court that can render that decision. Tribunal is unable. The Court is under cabal control.
There was nothing anyone could do about it, he continued, therefore the opposition should just accept the president-elect and the INEC results. Daily post report.
According to Daily post, It will be recalled that after INEC declared Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner and president-elect of the recently concluded election that took place on February 25, the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, and that of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, had approached the Court to contest the 2023 presidential election result.
