A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Buba Galadima, has argued that unlike before where money could be used as an instrument in winning election, the forthcoming election would be entirely different as President Muhammadu Buhari has dealt with those still hoping to use that tactics to win.

Speaking further, Galadima maintained that their party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is not just making empty promises because all the things he has promised to do for Nigerians, he has done it before when he was governor of Kano state.
He said: “We have a strategy; we are practical politicians and don’t campaign only on TV or by dishing out money. Thank God Muhammadu Buhari has dealt with them, money is not going to be an instrument. Kwankwaso has done everything he said he will do. He has done a sample of it in Kano State, and it has been successful. It is one of the most prosperous states in Nigeria.”
