The Minister Of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed recently gave reason why the federal government has continued to borrow money.
While speaking, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed made it clear that the federal government is not borrowing to pay salaries, but to build world class infrastructures that would benefit generations of Nigerians.
Based on that statement that was made by the Minister of Information and Culture, I really think that he said the right thing.
Though most Nigerians are not happy with the way this present government is borrowing money, but the fact still remains that this present administration is building infrastructures across the country with the money it borrowed.
Before this present administration entered in the year 2015, there was nothing like railway across the country, but as it stands now, Nigerians can travel by rail.
The federal government will soon commence the construction of Kano - Maradi rail line and when it is completed, it will help to boast the economy of Nigeria in one way or the other.
Virtually every part of the country can boast of one federal infrastructure or the other. In the south east for instance, the construction of the second Niger bridge is presently going on.
There are several projects going on in different parts of the country today. Though this country may be facing the problem of insecuriy, but that does not mean that the Buhari led federal government is not trying his best.
What this president administration needs now is support and nothing more. Indeed there is no perfect Government anywhere in the world, I believe that this present administration is borrowing for a good reason.
I know that many people will definitely kick against what I just said here, but the fact still remains that we all are entitled to our own opinions and I have just aired my own opinion.
