In a statement made by Burma Boy, he emphasized that he has never benefitted financially from the Nigerian government, nor has he ever received any form of compensation such as property or funds from any governor.
"I've never made money from any Nigerian government and I never took any house, land or money from any governor," he said. "I have never held any public office, and it's not something I ever intend to do. All the good things that I do for my country are from my heart, my pockets, my time, and my emotions."
Burma Boy also made it clear that his actions are not for social media validation or because of any obligations he has to anyone. "It's not for social media validation and it's definitely not because I owe anybody," he explained.
Additionally, he revealed that he has never voted in any elections. "I say I nor vote," he stated. "Let everybody getat."
Burma Boy's statement shows his commitment to serving his country without any personal gain. It is a reminder to everyone that we should all strive to contribute positively to our society and give back without expecting anything in return.
