The Holy Bible, in Romans 13: 1-4, enjoins us to be subject to our leaders for they are ordained by God as His ministers (servants) for the good of the people. President BUHARI more than any of his predecessors fits this bill.
In case nobody has noted this, let it be known here and now that President Muhammadu Buhari has done what no other president, military or civilian, dead or alive has ever done in Nigeria. Before the emergence of this humane servant of God in 2015 as civilian president of Nigeria, Central Bank of Nigeria was a distant fortified institution that the unlearned Nigerian knew little or nothing about. But today, courtesy of Sai Baba, its doors have been thrown open to every Nigerian, rich or poor, connected or unconnected.
A true friend of the poor, he has directed the CBN to approve loans to households and small businesses with only their BVN as collateral. This is besides other stimuli and relieves such as food palliatives, tredamoni, NYIF, artisans grant, payroll support and many other covid-19-support/survival funds.
This is unprecedented. He is indeed a unique leader, a father and a true friend of the poor. Nobody dreamed of this. May God bless our President for being the first in such capacity to lend to the poor.
