The Governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule has given an order for the sack of all the Commissioners, Special Assistants, and Senior Special Advisers. The Governor publicized their sack at the end of the State Executive Council’s Expanded Meeting held at the Government House, Lafia earlier today, August 30, 2021.
Governor Sule thanked the Commissioners and all the Senior Special Advisers for their contributions to his administration and told them he had dissolved the State executive councils after the meeting. Reports show that the plan to dissolve the executive council has been ongoing before the announcement. Sources have disclosed that some of the sacked members of the cabinet may be reinstated. The Governor did not disclose when the next Commissioners will be appointed.
Those that may be reappointed include The Commissioner of Education and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Dogo Shammah the Commissioner of Information.
