The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the fraud allegations made against the present Minister of Niger-Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio by Mrs Joy Nunieh, who is the Interim Managing Director of the National Center for Disease and Control.
President Muhammadu Buhari on his official Twitter handle said, he will get to the root of the problem undermining the Niger-Delta development, despite that a lot of National resources has been dedicated to the development of the region.
He said in line to what he said above, he has made it clear to the National Assembly and other investigation law enforcement agencies to work together and pursue the goal for their establishment, in order to ensure transparency and accountability of goverment's funds.
He said he has also made it clear to the National Assembly and other law agencies to investigate and audit the National Center for Disease and Control and make sure that he is been informed of any progress they make concerning their investigations.
