Celebrating Kwankwaso at 64th.
Let me for the first time publicly celebrate one of our icons of development in Kano. Though I may not be a politician and certainly this is not about politics, it is clear that the massive footprints of Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the development of Kano State cannot be quantified.
This is someone that has directly touched the lives of most Kano people, there is no better person in Kano that has touched the lives of young people in Kano positively more than Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Even outside goverment, the former governor has continued to exhibit great foresight by recently using his Kwankwasiyya Foundation, with donations from members and other people, to sponsor hundreds of sons and daughters of the masses to study abroad.
Just this week also establised a Primary School at Munture, a village at Rano Local Government Area of Kano, that has really touched my heart after I heard how the village was longing for such a school to be established for them.
As you celebrate your 64th birthday sir, this is wishing you a more prosperous years ahead in service to humanity and we look forward to more of your political and humanitarian sagacity as we strive to bring our state, in particular and Nigeria in general, out of the woods. Happy birthday!
Rabiu Shamma, Kano Youth Coalition for Advocacy and Development (KAYCAD).
May Allah (SWT) bless your new age. Amin
