Double Jeopardy: Senate President Ahmed Lawan trends over grammatical error in his speech

The Nigerian Senate President Ahmed Lawan in a video which emerged online got the social media buzzing with various taunting comment on political leaders following his grammatical error in a speech.

During a plenary at the National Assembly, the senate president while reacting to the death sentence of Maryam Sandra who stabbed his husband and son of a former national chairman of the people's Democratic Party Haliru Bello to death said:

A woman who was alleged to have kill her husband to death

Many Nigerian in their reactions faulted the word “kill to death” as it is unacceptable for a senate leader as it portray a negative image on the country.
