Nyesome Wike, the Rivers state governor, while appreciating Peter Odili, has recalled the advice he gave him before he was sworn in as Rivers State Governor in 2015.
Wike, while speaking during an event said Peter Odili wrote down some things in a paper and gave them to him to use as guide . Wike while speaking during the gathering said before he was sworn in , Odili told him that he made some mistakes and he doesn't want him to do the same
Wike said he followed all he said and that is why Rivers state is where it is today
He said " One of the things that I can say and I will continue to say that guided me before I was sworn in as the governor of Rivers state in 2015 and which I have also told my successor. Dr. Peter Odili wrote out certain things and gave them to me that they should be my guide. He said he made his own mistakes and he doesn't want me to make the same mistakes. I did them and that is why we are where we are today "
