Opinion: Let's See Who The Presidential Cap Fits Among These Three APC Leaders

As the 2023, Presidential Polls is approaching, Political Parties have been showing interest in the forthcoming Polls. The two Popular Political Parties we have in the country are the Peoples Democratic party PDP and The Rulling All Progressives Congress APC. The last Presidential Polls was keenly between these Political Parties. The ruling Party, All Progressives Congress APC came First while the Peoples Democratic party PDP came second in the Polls.

The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the last Polls was President Muhammadu Buhari who came first in the Polls and who is now the President Federal Republic of Nigeria. And the candidate of the Peoples Democratic party PDP, was Alhaji Atiku Abubakr who came second. President Muhammadu Buhari is about to finish his tenure as the President, then the Political Parties are getting ready to select their Presidential candidates ahead the 2023 Polls.

Candidates both within the All Progressives Congress APC and the Peoples Democratic party PDP are preparing ahead the 2023 Presidential Polls. The Presidential ticket in the All Progressives Congress has been zoned to the Southwest. Therefore, the Candidates who are interested to contest the Presidential Polls have been showing interest in the Party. Each of the APC candidates have their Loyalists in the Party that would easily work for them when it is time.

The APC Presidential Candidates shall be focused in this article. Though, few of the Presidential candidates have made the their intentions to contest the 2023 Presidential Polls Public and many candidates who are also interested to contest the polls have not been it Public. Therefore, The Presidential candidates who have declared the intention to contest the Presidential Polls are not Much compared to those who have not declare it openly but they are also interested.

Let's See Who The Presidential Cap Fits Among These Three APC Leaders.

The First APC Leader that would be discussed is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Tinubu happened to be the national Leader of All Progressives Congress APC and the former Governor of Lagos State. Tinubu is the leading candidate in the Southwest due to his Popularity in the Party. Though, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not the only All Progressives Congress APC Presidential candidate in the Southwest, but he remained the foremost and the Leading candidate in the zone.

Although, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is facing some challenges in the Party. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission are after Tinubu over the mismanagement of Public funds. Some are of the Opinions that some Party Leaders that do not want Tinubu to contest the Presidential Polls under the Platform of the Party are behind this action. But the fact is Tinubu is contesting for the Post of President under the Platform of All Progressives Congress APC.

The second Leader is the Governor of Ekiti State, Governor Kayode Fayemi. Kayode Fayemi is second Candidate from the southwest contesting Presidential Polls. Though, Governor Fayemi may not bee too much Popular in the Southwest but the northern elders are interested in Fayemi's candidature. Therefore, Governor Fayemi may be the ordained Presidential candidate as majority of the Northerners may support him when it is time.

Kayode Fayemi may not be as Popular as Tinubu in the Southwest, but Fayemi will get the full support from the Northerners. Tinubu may not be given the kind of support that will be given to Fayemi by the nothern Elders. Therefore, Governor Fayemi may have huge edge over other Presidential candidates in the north.

The Third All Progressives Congress APC Leader is the former Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun. The Former Governor Amosun has not been showing any interest to contest the Presidential Polls but it was gathered that the Presidency have pencil down Amosun's name ahead the 2023 Presidential Polls. It was gathered that Abubakr Malami will be a running mate to Amosun in 2023 Presidential Polls.

Though, Amosun is the Present Senator in Ogun State but he was challenged of Antiparty activities during the last Governorship Polls in Ogun state. Amosun was challenged for not supporting Dapo Abiodun who was the Candidate of the party in the last Governorship Polls. But it was gathered that the Presidency have Pencil down Amosun's name as Presidential candidate. Let's see who the cap Fits Among the Three Presidential candidates.
