Two days ago, it was reported that the president of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari would be staying in the United Kingdom for medical treatment, shortly after he attended the coronation of King Charles III.
After this was announced, it was also reported that the elected president of Nigeria, Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well would be traveling out of the country to Europe for medical treatment as well, even though his team denied the claim that he travelled out for medical treatment.
However, while Mr Daniel Bwala, who happens to be an official spokesperson to the Peoples Democratic Party's Presidential Campaign Council, was reacting to this on his Twitter handle this morning, he said that there are two presidents in the country, both the substantive one and the selected one and the two of them are out of the country for medical treatment abroad.
He said the first person called his own dental care, while the second person called his own an official visit.
He said, "Tale of a country; two presidents. Substantive one and selected one: Both out of the country as of today on medicals. One calls his own dental care; the other calls his own official visit. Their medical needs can adequately be met in NIgeria’s hospitals, public or private. Sad."
