Afenifere said it would not be part of the move to shut down Nigeria for one month.
Speaking exclusively with Daily Post, a highly placed Afenifere chieftain, who wished not to be named, said shutting down Nigeria is not part of its agenda.
Nigerians should expect the alleged plan of IPOB to shutdown Nigeria to be canceled and destroyed by the federal government of Nigeria. IPOB have no constitutional power to give directives to Nigerians and their evil plans to break Nigeria's unity will not work. Nigerians should expect the federal government to deploy more security operatives to the South-East region of the country where IPOB members are much. The security operatives will help in ensuring that IPOB members don't instill fear in the minds of South-East residents.
Finally, I urge all Nigerians not to panic about the alleged plan of IPOB to shutdown Nigeria because the federal government is in full control.
