It is no longer news that the economic and financial crimes commission boss has been whisked away by the men of Department of state security and taken to the constituted presidential panel meant to investigate the allegations against him.
The DSS have since 2016 compiled and submitted a damning report against him which prevented his screening by the 8th senate led by senator Bukola Saraki.
The attorney general of the federation, Abubakar Malami has written an official petition of insubordination, unaccountability among others against the corruption czar.
He recommended his sack and replacement. The president has constituted a panel to investigate the allegations leveled against him. The panel was headed by Isa Ayo Salami the former president of the Court of Appeal who was suspended by the Good luck Jonathan because he was not ready to be compromised.
The chairman of the panel is accompanied by seven other members including Deputy inspector general of police, force criminal investigation and intelligence department, Mike Ogbizi, representatives of the NSA, DSS and other related agencies.
