Recall that the presidency, through the Special adviser to president Muhammad Buhari on new media; Bashir Ahmed had during the weekend, Friday 5th revealed that the president will be unveiling the first made in Nigeria electric car.
According to the details of the tweet, the said car was manufactured by Hyundai motorcycle in Nigeria and named Kona and upon it's launching by the president, it will be test run in various designated locations within the cities of Abuja on the said date.
However, in a reaction to that, a former Nigeria senator, representing a constituency in Bayesal in the past eight assembly, whose name is Ben Muray Bruce has this to say;
"I urged president @MBuhari to purchase and drive Nigeria's first electric car. I also urged him to mandate the honourable Minister for Transportation, @chibuikeamaechi to develop policies to phase out combustion engine cars by 2035". He said in a video made via his Twitter account.

It's noteworthy that the said car has a range capacity of 253 and environmental friendly, as it does not emits smokes into the air.
