On Thursday, the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, urged all presidential aides to advise President Muhammadu Buhari and be honest with him about the true condition of things in the country, and how Nigerians really suffering.
The Emir made the request during a visit by President Buhari to the Emir's palace. Bayero urged the president to find a solution to the increased insecurity and the poor economic status of the country. He told the president that the citizens of the country are suffering, and they are tired of listening to unending promises. He urged President Buhari to see the country's issue as a matter of urgency.
Aminu Ado Bayero also made a call to all the aides to the President, asking them to be very honest with the president about the country's economic and security status. According to the Emir, it will help the president to be able to evaluate the progress of his administration and know when and where to put more effort.
