The Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor Nasiru El-Rufai has directed public servants in the state to resume back to work on Monday, 20 July 2020.
This was made known to the general public on Saturday afternoon through a press statement released on the Kaduna State Governor's official Twitter handle.
The governor said public servants will resume on Monday with strict compliance to Covid-19 guidelines laid down by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The workers have been divided into two categories, grade levels 14 and above will resume working on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while grade levels 7 to 13 will come to work on Tuesday and Thursday. The working hours are now between 9 am to 3 pm.
The governor added that Chief executives of MDAs may declare the services of any of their officers as essential and direct their office days and working hours accordingly.
Kaduna State workers have been off from work for the past three months due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic is the country.
