I’m willing to groom youths to succeed my generation – Ex-VP Atiku

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has restated readiness to mentor a group of Nigerian youths who will take over the mantle of leadership from his generation.

Atiku stated his commitment to taking up the mentorship in his goodwill message at the inauguration of Northern Youth Advocates for Atiku in Sokoto on Sunday.

Represented by his Special Assistant in the Office of Youth and Support Groups, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, the former vice president said; “Convey my appreciation and Congratulations. I admire the interest of the youths in participating in politics and I am committed to grooming them to succeed my generation.”

On his part, National Chairman of the coalition of political and students groups, Comrade Bello Muazu Kware lamented over the existing leadership gap in Nigeria and charged members of the Northern Youth Advocates for Atiku on the need to stay focused by participating in politics at the right time.

Only the youth can restore normalcy and make our dear Nigeira great with the help of God. Otherwise, every other thing is a waste of time and resources.

the palace of the Oba of Lagos was raided by angry youths protesters, more than two prison breaking occure across Nigeria, more and more protesters and or hoodlums shot.

The president made himself cleared there will been no more protest in Nigeria the address which sounded to many listeners more like a threat than a message that could reduce the tension. He warned protesters not to take his actions for weakness.

The protest is not just about police brutality. It is an attack on the old order that has consistently failed to bring about positive change across ethnic, relgious and political lines.

Will all hope for a better Nigeria, God bless us all.
