According to thewhistler.ng, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has informed the Presidential Election Petition Court that he plans to provide 50 witnesses within seven weeks to demonstrate that President-elect Bola Tinubu was declared the winner of the election through fraudulent means.

His legal team led by Awa Kalu SAN expressed their dissatisfaction with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for not adhering to the court's order concerning access to electoral materials. In response, INEC's lawyer, A. B Mahmoud SAN, denied that the Commission failed to comply with the court order.
But Meanwhile, Tinubu's lawyers requested three weeks to call 21 witnesses to defend their client. The case was adjourned to Monday for further hearing. Obi is looking to nullify Tinubu's victory, alleging that he did not receive the majority of lawful votes and that the election results were manipulated in 18,000 polling units.
