We got some photos today that shows Niger Delta Youths showing their support for Godswill Akpabio and the Acting Director Of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).This happened today around the time that the Acting MD of NDDC fainted and Godswill Akpabio was quizzed over the ongoing audit crisis rocking the commission. The youths took to the street with cards that showed that they support Akpabio.
According to the photo, they were the Niger Delta Students Union Government (NIDSUG) and they held the match to declare 100% support for Godswill Akpabio and Prof Daniel who is the Acting MD of NDDC.If you could recall that earlier today, the Acting MD of NDDC made headlines after he slumped when he was asked how he spent public funds since he took over the commission. Akpabio wasn't left behind as he was also queried over the funds but it came to an end after he indicated that most of the contracts were awarded to members of the National Assembly.Nigerians were unhappy about the situation but Niger Delta Youths wants people to know that they are supporting the leaders of the commission wholeheartedly
This solidarity match was held this afternoon and they also invited the media to cover the match
