Reasons Why Northerners May Support Igbo Presidency If Nnamdi Stops Biafra Agitation

General elections will be held in Nigeria on 23 February 2023 to elect the President, Vice President, House of Representatives and Senate. The winners of the election will be inaugurated on 29 May 2023, the former date of Democracy Day. 3

As the 2023 presidential election approaches, many people have been eyeing the South East region, and the Ohaneze Group has also been agitating for power to be shifted to the Igbo people.

Ohaneze Ndigbo has urged many Igbo politicians, such as Peter Obi, Rochas Okorocha, Engr Dave Umahi, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, Chief Chibuike Amaechi, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and others, to start negotiating for the Igbo presidency with other regions.

Recall that Hundreds of young people from the north have pledged their support for Professor Kingsley Moghalu's presidential campaign.On Saturday, August 14, 2021, Professor Moghalu announced this on his Twitter account. Sanusi Lamido's 60th birthday colloquium was held in Kaduna State, and Moghalu stated the youngsters invaded the auditorium with banners to declare their support for his presidential campaign.

However, these are Reasons why Northerners may possibly support Igbo Presidency in 2023 coming election if Nnamdi Kanu Stop Biafra Agitation.

Recall that the Federal Government of Nigeria has arrested the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu has been taken to the Federal High Court in Abuja for the continuation of his trial on terrorism charges, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society.

Northerners Will Have More Confidence In "Igbos" If Nnamdi Kanu Stops His Biafra Agitation.

People from the northern part of Nigeria are not happy about the Biafra agitation happening in the Southeast region and many of them are scared of voting an "Igbo" man during the 2023 presidential election.So, if Nnamdi Kanu (The leader of IPOB) stops his agitation for Biafra, the northerners will have the courage to vote for "Igbos" in the next presidential election.

Northerners Will Know That There Is Unity In Nigeria If Nnamdi Kanu Stops His Biafra Agitation.

Nnamdi Kanu should stop his agitation for Biafra in order for Northerners to believe that there is unity within the country. This will make the Northerners to support "Igbos" during the presidential election in 2023.
