2023: Okupe Lists 7-Point Agenda As He Declares Interest In Presidency

A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has declared his interest in running for the presidency in 2023.

Okupe, who made this known in a statement on Tuesday, said he will run on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The former presidential aide said he has the knowledge and experience to rule Nigeria as well as end the insecurity and economic lapses in the country. 

“I want to run a government which for the first time will make the life, wellbeing and safety of lives and properties especially of the Poor and needy a major priority.” he said. 

He also listed his 7-point agenda to include Reset Heal and Reunite the Nation; Make the Poor and Needy the Priority of Government; End Insecurity in two Years; Increase Revenue Base with Massive Agricultural Drive; Increase Electricity Generation to 30,000 MW in three years; Drastically reduce Youth Unemployment. Re-engineer & revamp the national economy.
