There Is No Need To Risk My Life To Go And Cast My Ballot - Collins Adanu

With the alleged loss of trust by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, during the recently ended elections, there are signs that the gubernatorial and State Assembly elections slated for Saturday, March 11, may be marred by indifference.

In interviews with DAILY POST on Saturday in Abuja and other parts of the nation, some voters expressed skepticism that their votes would be counted in the governorship election.

Collins Adanu, a human rights activist, stated that there may have been more irregularities in the governorship race than in the presidential and National Assembly elections.

"Are the governorship elections going to be held by a different INEC? For me, there is no need to risk my life to go and cast my ballot when I know very well that my vote won't count.

"Will they fix it the same way they did the one last week? Our trust has been violated by INEC," Adanu complained.
