FG to Prosecute Violators of Flight Protocols.

The Federal Government has vowed to prosecute all violators of flight protocols in Airports including Top politicians in the country.

The minister of aviation Hadi Sirika, disclosed this during the Presidential Task Force Briefing in Abuja.

He noted that the ministry has received lots of reports from its agents concerning the behaviour of VIP passengers including former governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari and Ahmadu Fintiri, the current governor of Adamawa state.

Investigations are ongoing about this reports concerning their unruly behaviours of these passengers in Airport and violators will be punished.

Under the aviation law violators will be sentenced to two months in jail if found guilty of these offence.

He also disclosed that the government will sincerely apologize to them if they are found not to be guilty of these allegations.

As part of these investigations Hadi Sirika noted that the airports are equipped with cameras to pick up violators of flight protocols.

The aviation regulation states that an unruly behaviour also includes disobedience of lawful instructions issued by the airport commander, the captain or flight cabin crew/attendant, check in staff, or any lawful staff on lawful duty at the airport.

With these any Top politician or VIP passenger found guilty will be handed over to the police to serve punishment.
