LP Supporters Begins Prayers For Peter Obi

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, some supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have commenced a weekly prayer for the former Anambra state governor.
The organisers are arranging the prayer sessions via Google meet and it will be held every Friday between 12pm and 1pm.

The Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, on Friday, said the defeat suffered by the All Progressives Congress at the July 16 governorship election to the opposition party, People Democratic Party (PDP) was a temporary setback.
Oyetola mentioned this at a meeting held at the Osun Government House, Osogbo, and attended by many political appointees and party leaders.
Enugu chief Judge Discharges 32, Grants 104 Bail

Chief Judge of Enugu, Justice Raymond Ozoemena, has discharged and acquitted no fewer than 32 inmates in three custodial centres in the state during a jail delivery.
Mr Ozoemena granted bail to 104 inmates and released three juveniles brought to the Enugu Custodial Centre on July 22.

Court Denies Umahi, Recognizes Another Candidate

A Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State, on Friday, recognised Princess Ann Agom-Eze, as the Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, for Ebonyi South Zone.
Governor Umahi through his Counsel, Roy Nweze Umahi, had dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission, to the Federal High Court in Abakaliki, to compel the commission to recognise the governor as the authentic senatorial candidate for Ebonyi South senatorial District.
