Gov Yahaya Bello
Born on June 18, 1975, in Agasa, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State, Bello is the last born of the six children.
He attended Okene Local Government Education Authority Primary School in 1984 where he rose to become the school headboy in class six.
He then proceeded to Agassa Community Secondary School, where be obtained his Junior Secondary Certificate Examination before proceeding to Government Secondary School, Suleja in Niger State where he obtained his SSCE in 1994. Yahaya Bello then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria in 1999 where he bagged a degree in Accounting.
Bello also bagged Master in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University in 2002 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2004.
Yahaya Bello delved into politics in 2015 and emerged the first runner up of the APC governorship primaries in 2015 Kogi governorship election.
Miraculously, Bello was substituted as APC governorship candidate following the death of APC governorship candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu who died on November 22 at the eve of his victory.
Bello defeated the then incumbent Governor, Captain Idris Wada of PDP in the rerun election and emerged the youngest Governor in Nigeria at the age of 40 years.
He won his second term bid on November 16, 2019 governorship election having scored 406,222 votes and set a record of the highest margin of 112,764 votes in the history of Kogi State.

Born Daniel Dino Melaye on January 1, 1974 in Kano State. Dino attended the famous Command and Air-Force Secondary School, Kaduna where he had his SSCE.
He then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, where he bagged a degree in Geography in 2000. During his days as a student, Dino Melaye was the president of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and rose to become the Secretary-General of African Youth Council and later the Commonwealth Youth Council.
Dino was later appointed by President Olusegun Obasanjo to chair the President Advisory Council on Youths. He came into spotlight when he was elected as a Member of the House of Representatives in 2007, representing Kabba/Ijumu federal constituency.
He was elected as Senator representing Kogi West in 2015 on the Platform of PDP, and reelected on the platform of APC on the February 23 general elections in 2019.
After his election was nullified by Appeal Court, Dino lost his Senate seat to his long time political opponent, Smart Adeyemi in the November 16 Kogi West senatorial rerun election.
Dino is popular in the Nigeria politics for his controversies and his swag as a youth. His lifestyle and choice of dressing attracted many Nigerians to him.
