PDP Deputy National Auditor, Hon. Amina rejects Consensus arrangement in Cross River.

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Deputy National Auditor, Hon. Amina Divine Arong, has rejected the decision of the Caucus of PDP in Cross River on the endorsement of Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe for the position of National Women leader for the Party's upcoming National Elective convention scheduled to hold October 30-31, 2021.

In a press statement signed by Amina, she denied stepping down for Prof. Stella or anyother candidate.

Her statement reads; RE: PDP CROSS RIVER STATE CAUCUS ADOPT PROF STELLA ATTOE AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE

"My attention has been drawn to a purported publication in the social media and other forums that I stepped down for prof Stella Attoe for the position of National women’s leader of the PDP."

"I wish to state that the said publication is false, malicious and misleading. At no point did I step down for anybody for the office of National women’s leader of the PDP."

"This publication is therefore intended to mislead and misinform my teeming supporters and the general public. It should therefore be disregard and of no consequence."

"For avoidance of doubt I am very much in the race for the office of National women’s leader in the forthcoming national convention of our great party The PDP."

"I have been in the PDP since the birth of the party in 1998.Presently I am the out going Deputy National Auditor of the PDP."

"I am therefore more strategically positioned to occupy this office at this critical time of our evolution than any other contender.

Members of the public particularly members of the PDP should please take note."

"Thank you

Hon.Amina Divine Arong

Aspirant to office of National women’s leader 2021."
