Daddy Freeze recently discussed his findings regarding a tweet in which a user going by the name of Nwammiri expressed her reaction to the Lagos train catastrophe during a live session on Facebook.
"When I went to investigate the man's twitter handle who claimed he praises God that those who had a train (versus bus) crash in Lagos State are followers of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I found from his pinned tweet he is a fan of Peter Obi and his Labour Party (LP)," Daddy Freeze added. Said he, "Not all of Peter Obi's supporters are like him, but I'm trying to make the point that they shouldn't use my social media platform to spread false information. I'll block them if they do that."
Daddy Freeze went on to say, "There was a period when I complained about toxicity but nobody understood. Other party followers, such as those in the labor party, have never assaulted me. I have never supported the All Progressives Congress (APC), despite their repeated accusations to the contrary.
The labour party needs to take action because Peter Obi's followers are damaging his prospects of winning in the future, Daddy Freeze said. Although it may not be to their liking, people should learn to respect others' decisions. Nobody will want to connect themselves with supporters who disparage people who are backing a different candidate, in my opinion. Said Freeze.
Daddy Freeze stated: "When the results of the presidential election began to fuel other things, I ceased associating with Nigerian politics. Since tribalists contribute to the nation's issues, I support peace and togetherness instead of tribalism."
