There are a lots of work going on in Imo State at the moment and it has made the citizens of the state very happy. After Hope Uzodinma was made the Governor of Imo State, a lot of person were criticising him but it has now turned out that he is really working towards the betterment of the state.
Since the swearing in of Hope Uzodinma as the new governor of Imo State, The Governor has been awarding contracts after contracts to make sure he changes the face of Imo State.
It is not a fluke to say that the Governor is working tirelessly and ceaselessly to improve the state capital and other areas withing the state.
The Governor has awarded new contracts for the construction and rehabilitation of certain roads within the state. Before this contracts were awarded, he dispatched a team lead by his personal adviser on New & Electronic Media to assess all the roads withing the state and to bring back feed backs concerning their state and to report any one that is bad.
After the bad ones was revealed, His Excellency Gov. Hope Uzodimma awarded contracts for the rehabilitation of those roads and the projects are still ongoing at the moment.
In other to check the progress made by the companies in charge of the construction and rehabilitation of those roads he asked the team that previously discovered those roads to go and find out the progress of the roads under reconstruction.
The team dispatched by the Governor has been assessing these roads for over 3 days and pictures of those roads has surfaced.
The following roads are the roads under construction and rehabilitation.

World Bank - Federal Secretariat road. Assumpta - Ibari Ogwa junction along PH road. Thomas Moore, JP Ajaelu and Gozie Nwachukwu roads. Nnempi road behind Emmanuel College. Oparaanozie/Edede/Amaigbo road Relief Market road. Akachi road. World Bank-Umuguma road. Akabo Ikeduru road. St Joseph Catholic Church roundabout Orlu Imo State University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH) road. Nkume/Orlu road. Okporo - Omuma road
