During an interview with the AriseTV morning show, a Nigerian politician and member-elect for the 10th National Assembly from Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency of Abia State on the Labour Party, Obi Aguocha, says that it is the first time that the All Progressive Congress (APC) is recognizing the south east, and I must recommend them for that.
He further stated that "I have signed up to be a Labour Party member and am sure that I am going to be a Labour Party member for life." "Based on international best practices, we consider the leadership of the institution to be with the ruling party, despite the fact that today, the colonization of the National Assembly has changed," he said.
According to him, those that the All Progressive Congress (APC) calls the minority are now the majority because if you combine the PDP, LP, NNPP, APGA, and other political parties together, then you will see that we have the majority. This is the first time the All Progressive Congress (APC) is recognizing the South East, and I must recommend them for that, he said.
