He further stated that "I have signed up to be a Labour Party member and am sure that I am going to be a Labour Party member for life." "Based on international best practices, we consider the leadership of the institution to be with the ruling party, despite the fact that today, the colonization of the National Assembly has changed," he said.

According to him, those that the All Progressive Congress (APC) calls the minority are now the majority because if you combine the PDP, LP, NNPP, APGA, and other political parties together, then you will see that we have the majority.
