The South-East politicians in PDP appear not to be working together to ensure that the PDP zones its 2023 presidential ticket to the South-East. Even though the PDP has zoned its national chairmanship to the North, there are indications that Northern PDP politicians are still interested in producing the 2023 presidential candidate of the party.

Peter Obi revealed that the South-East politicians are not united in the struggle for Igbo President in 2023. He regretted the Igbo politicians don't meet irrespective of party lined to discuss Igbo Presidency.
I agree with Peter Obi because politics is a game and it requires that you must be united and strategize before you can win.
Take, for instance, the South-West is already speaking with one voice ahead of the 2023 presidential election. They know that the ruling party will zone its presidential ticket to the South and they want it at all cost because they supported APC in the 2015 and 2019 elections.
The South-East which has supported PDP since 1999 cannot even forge a united front in demanding the 2023 presidential ticket of the party. Take, for instance, the South-East PDP politicians were divided when the zoning committee of the PDP sought the input of geo-political zones on which region should produce the national chairman of the PDP.

The federal lawmakers from the region rarely meet to discuss where to channel their energy to realise the ambition of the region which is to produce the President of Nigeria in 2023.
All these are signals that are at the South-East will be sidelined in PDP ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
