President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly set to host President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey alongside his wife and First Lady, Emine Erdogan, who allegedly arrived in Nigeria this night, 19th October, 2021.
According to reports, the Turkish leader who will be in "Africa’s most populous nation" for a two-day official visit, will consider about two dozen Bilateral Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with President Buhari.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is expected to commission the Turkish Cultural Centre in Abuja while his wife, Emine, alongside Nigerian counterpart, will commission the newly-renovated Government Secondary School in Wuse 11.
Reports gathered that, the school was renovated by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordinating Agency (TIKA).
This was disclosed in a communique by the Presidential spokesman, Shehu Garba, on Tuesday night, 19th October, 2021.
The communique reads: "President Muhammadu Buhari is set to host President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey alongside his wife and First Lady, Emine Erdogan as they arrive Nigeria this night. Erdogan will come in from Angola, and depart to Togo after holding a private meeting with Buhari. The two president will consider about two dozen Bilateral Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU). Erdogan is expected to commission the Turkish Cultural Centre in Abuja while his wife, Emine, and Nigerian counterpart will commission the newly-renovated Government Secondary School in Wuse 11."
