Do not be deceived By Oshiomhole's Return, PDP Has Already Conquered Edo State

The return of Adams Oshiomole from Abuja on Saturday, might have very little impact in the Politics of Edo state, as PDP has already got that the numbers that is required, because many people from All Progressives Congress members have migrated to, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the movement is still ongoing.

Many indigenes of Auchi Local Govt of Edo state, gathered last Saturday to celebrate the return of Adams Oshiomhole, the former national Chairman of All progressives Congress, When he came back from Abuja on Saturday night. He thanked them for their support and spoke to them courageously telling them that he has come back to put Edo state, on the part of progress.

But all these encouraging words might mean very little as Peoples Democratic Party has done their groundwork, while Adams Oshiomole was away, struggling to retain his post, as the Chairman of All Progressives Congress which he lost to Mr Mala Buni, the Governor of Yobe state. During the course of his trip to Abuja, the Peoples Democratic Party moved into action, ensured that many members of All Progressive Congress members defected to join the incumbent Governor in the PDP.

Many of the big wigs in All Progressives Congress in Edo state, has defected to Peoples Democratic Party to reposition the party, to win election in September 2020. The incumbent Governor Mr Godwin Obaseki has deployed all his machineries on ground to ensure his victory, by September 2020, while Adams oshiomole was at away.

With the development on ground the return of Adams Oshiomole might means very little, as All Progressives Congress has already lost many members. They are working very hard to stop further defections.

Even the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress Pastor Ize Iyamu, in one of his statements, he said that the Governor Mr Godwin Obaseki, is using his position to force members to join Peoples Democratic Party.

With the support of all the Governor's from South Southern geopolitical bloc who are all from Peoples Democratic Party and I have assured the incumbent Governor Mr Godwin Obaseki of maximum support to ensure that they return Edo state to PDP, in September 2020 governorship elections.
