This is not the first time that the former Vice President would visit President Mohammadu Buhari at the state house in Abuja.
Vice President Namadi Sambo was welcomed and received to the state house in Abuja by President Mohammadu Buhari and top members of his cabinet.

The closed door meeting between President Mohammadu Buhari and former Vice President Namadi Sambo was attended by the top members of the President Mohammadu Buhari's cabinet.
Among those who were at the closed door meeting were Minister of Information and Orientation , Lai Mohammed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godfrey Onyema, Chief of Staff to the President, Gambari , Special Assistant to the President on Media, Femi Adesina and others.
