Shehu Sani, a Nigerian Activist, Author and former Senator has disclosed his disappointment over the increasing habit of allocation of funds by some outgoing Governors in the country.
In a recent social media post, Shehu Sani explained that the actions of some outgoing governors have neither been cautioned nor addressed by the lawmakers who he categorised as docile.
“The Outgoing Governors are allocating billions to themselves because there is always a docile and subservient states houses of assemblies to approve of it”, Shehu Sani disclosed in a statement earlier.
This statement came after an outgoing governor in the country allocated millions to purchase vehicles for himself and his political aides in office. The recent development has sparked controversial comments and reactions across the country with many people expressing disappointment in the political system and abuse of national resources by individuals in public offices.
