Can Barack Obama ever be President again ?

There are this phrase that usually come up frequently in the United State of America that the President of the United States may not serve more than two terms. This sentence does not seem to be a complete one but nevertheless, some people wonder if this limit is applicable to consecutive terms only. And there are so many people wondering if Barack Obama could run for a third term in the future.

Running for a third term in the USA, the answer is no, since it is going to be against the Constitution of the United States of America. The 22nd amendment which was proposed by the congress in 1947 and later ratified in 1951. The part which mention that no person shall be elected thrice is significant to this article, and it states and I quote :

“ No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice and no person who has held the office of President or acted as president, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected president shall be elected to office of president more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President or acting as president, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as president during the remainder o such term.”

Only one President Frank D. Roosevelt served on four different occasion before this amendment. He served from 1933 – 1945. He won four different elections in the United States of America in 1932, 1936, 1940 and 1944. He was president for 16 years.

As for advice President, if he or she through one thing or the other later replaced the President and the time he served as President was more than two years, then such person can only be elected President only once thereafter.

The only thing that will make Barack Obama return to the white house is only if Michelle Obama decides to contest for the President of the United States of America in 2024 or 2028. I don’t see this in Michelle Obama plans. Or are you seeing something of such.?
