Imo Commissioner says People shouldn't Be Bothered About Obaseki's Ordeals

Dr Fabian Ihekweme, The Commissioner For Foreign/International Affairs Has Urge People to stop bothering themselves over Obaseki's ordeal. How did he come into power to start with? Does it mean that we have forgotten in hurry how he was babynursed into power? Who was he before the advent of his inauguration as the Executive Governor of Edo state? Nigerian politics is a combination of insecurity and loyalty mantra. If you have pledged to be loyal, stick with that 100%. Obaseki is a victim of false executive power conciliation. He was deceived by the trappings and promises which the office he occupies holds. He did not realise that the executive power he is enjoying cannot countersign the powers of the cartel that brought him into power and limelight. The embattled Edo Governor is not a good student of political history as it affects power play in Nigeria. He should have learnt his lessons from the political misfortunes of the likes of Prof Osunbor, Odera, Ngige, Ohakim etc.

If you know you can't keep to the terms, and you cannot defeat your benefactor in the power games, why crying wolf after you had wasted your bullets trying to kill the man that fed you when you had nothing? Obaseki is at fault. And believe me, he got exactly what he deserves. After funding the campaign to remove Adams Oshiomohle as the National Chairman of APC, Obaseki lost the moral justification to seek re-election under the same party and Chairmanship of the same man he wasted taxpayers money to disgrace. He who comes to equity with unclean hands, should not expect any affirmative recovery. Obaseki was ruthless and nasty to the gods that provided political ladder for him to climb. He should therefore, suffer for his greed and disloyalty.
