'Dele Momodu Couldn't Make His Presidential Candidate To Record 25% In His State' - Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has blasted the spokesperson of the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Dele Momodu for not having any electoral value in his state of origin. Wike speaking at the commissioning of Akpadu Egbeda road linking Elele Omoku road, he stated that Atiku Abubakar surrounded himself with praise singers who have no electoral value at the grassroots.

He alleged that he have watched quite a number of the Atiku spokesperson attacking him before the election. He, however, stated that they have all been quiet since the election has ended last week. He identified that it's important to execute politics by action and not by words. Wike asserted that all the people who cheered Atiku on failed woefully in their state.

He said, ''I don't often watch Arise Television but these days I have grown interest and I have started watching them. I don't see anybody there again, they are not talking about me again there. All of them are quiet now.

There is one who's from Edo, they call him Dele Momodu. In his state, he couldn't produce one national assembly member, he couldn't make his Presidential candidate to record 25% in his state. These are people who had the effrontery to appear on the Television to talk about Rivers state. I challenge them to appear on television now. I have 3/3 in my state, they have 0/3. Is it the same thing? They failed woefully in their state and the difference is clear.''
