Dino Melaye, a former senator, spoke with the Punch Newspaper this morning on Governor Nyesom Wike and the other G-5 Governors. Former senator Dino Melaye reaffirmed, "In spite of Wike and the G-5 Governors, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar proved ability. According to assessments made by our party, Atiku garnered more than four million votes. Shameful things happened to the Integrity group governors today.

Former senator Dino Melaye observed, "Nyesom Wike will be unhappy for working for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu since Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will soon be sworn in as President." Melaye was referring to Governor Nyesom Wike of the state of Rivers. He went on to say, "I categorically deny that the G-5 governors had any influence on the election's outcome because Atiku 'won' regardless of their involvement.

According to him, "I want to tell you that Wike is like Maradona, he will dribble everyone but at the end of the day score with his hand. Nigerians are wiser. How did you the G5 end up? Ortom is busy appealing the people of Benue. Wike will be disappointed because the APC will not work with him despite working for Tinubu."
