No matter what happens, no matter what goes wrong, whether the government of the country is performing or not, there's the need to pray for our country for the God commands us to do so when he said "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem". And as it stands for now, Nigeria is our own Jerusalem. Join me to say these prayers for our wonderful country as she turns 61 today.
Heavenly Father I thank you for today. Thank you Jehova Lord for bringing me into the dawn of a new month, a month that you have made. Thank you Lord for preservation from all the whiles of the devil. The insecurities in the country never took my life. I glorify your name in Jesus name, Amen.
Today, the country you made me a citizen of, turned 61, and I bless your honourable name for making me see today despite all the crisis that has been going on. And Lord, I pray for the peace of Nigeria. Let there be Peace and Unity as it has been formerly proposed in the Nigerian Anthem.
Dear God I pray, let the crisis, kidnappings and insecurities cease. Let the perpetrators of evil in this wonderful country repent and return to the Lord. It is written, "The heart of the king is in the hands of the Lord, and he turns it wheresoever he wants". Lord God, turn the hearts of the leaders of this country to remember the poor masses. I decree Lord that from today, Nigeria will be a better country to live in, in Jesus most precious name I pray, Amen.
